Apeks XTX40 DS4 Regulator
The XTX 40 DS4 is composed of the XTX 40 second stage and DS4 first stage. The DS4 first stage regulator uses a dry sealed system and an over balanced diaphragm design where the intermediate pressure supplied to the second stage increases as the diver descends to greater depths which results in superior breathing performance regardless of depth.
The second stage, XTX40 regulator is unique thanks to to its Reversible Venturi System which allows the standard right handed hose configuration to be changed to the left side (by an authorised Apeks service technician). Also the XTX40 features the Diver Changeable Exhaust system which gives the diver the ability to switch from a small exhaust tee which is suitable for use with an octopus regulator to a wider exhaust tee which provides minimal bubble interference essential for underwater photography. The ergonomic Venturi lever has been designed to reduce grit ingress and a new silicone exhaust valve has been added to improve breathing performance.
