Regulators

A diving regulator is a pressure regulator used as part of your scuba gear that reduces pressurized breathing gas to ambient pressure and delivers it to the diver effectively. Gas pressure regulators have a number of valves, which in turn reduce pressure in a controlled manner from the source, and so lower pressure at each stage.

Diving regulators and associated accessories are essential dive equipment and it is often the case that divers prefer to own and use their own personal one. This is because they then know the extent to how the regulator has been used and that it has been serviced properly. The last thing you want is to have a problem with your breathing apparatus when diving, especially at great depths.
