In its very simplest form, a snorkel is a bent tube that enables you to breath with your face underwater.  Quite naturally, the configuration of that tube and the design of its components will determine its level of comfort during use.

All SCUBAPRO snorkels are hydro-dynamically designed for ease of use.  Elliptical barrel models cut through water with very little resistance, allowing unrestricted breathing and ease of clearing.
