I did quite a lot of research before choosing this watch, and bought it from Deep Blue because the price was the best I could find anywhere. I'm not actually a diver so I can't comment on what it's like at 300m (it claims it can go down there) but it's certainly great for ordinary swimming. I hadn't met a screw-down crown before but it works absolutely fine and screwing the crown back firmly (after changing the date say) gives one a feeling of confidence about going in the water.

It's hard to find a woman's-size watch that has the functionality I want: analogue face that's clear and easy to read, sweep second hand with minute divisions, date window, fluorescent paint on the hands so you can read the time at night, the wonderful eco-drive so you never need batteries, and all this without being too big for my wrist. This watch fits the bill almost perfectly (see below for minor gripes) and has an added feature that in fact was what swayed me towards it instead of some of the competitors from Citizen. I'm a pilot and often need to time short flights, and I find the rotating bezel such a convenient way of doing it. I used to fiddle around with a stop watch but the bezel is much simpler. I use it for timing all sorts of things in fact.

There are only a couple of things I'd change. I put a new (nylon - surprisingly hard to source these) strap on the watch because the rubber one it comes with was uncomfortable and bulky - probably good for wet-suit wearers though. Also, the date window is too small, so the number is hard to read except in good light (and ideally I'd have liked the day as well as date).

But those are minor gripes and overall I love the watch. As well as all the practical points I noted above I think it looks really nice and, even though I've had it several months now, I still feel pleased every time I glance at it.
