As the mask has no need for a frame the silicone skirt neatly folds away allowing the mask to be flattened and easily fitted into a small pocket or pouch such as on a BCD, making it ideal for carrying as a spare (essential for any good instructor).
The ATOMIC is a hyper low volume mask making it extremely easy for purging a totally removed mask due to the low amount of water contained, and as the lens is so close to the face gives an excellent panoramic, all-round 170-degree field of vision more than twice that of a normal mask.
As the mask has no restrictive casing, one size fits all giving an excellent seal over facial hair and protruding cheekbones.
The ATOMIC strap is very thick and durable and exceptionally comfortable.
