Apeks Pressure Gauge + Depth Gauge Console

The Apeks Pressure Gauge Console is a clear and accurate gauge which provides clear information on the contents of your cylinder. The gauge offers a range up to 360 bar displayed clearly. The gauge itself is clear and uncluttered, the large black figures are on top of a luminous background designed to give a long phosphorescent effect. This makes it easy to see in darker waters or at a distance, perfect for diving in waters that are unfamiliar.

The dial window itself is also made of highly shock resistant material, more specifically anti-splinter polycarbonate. This means that the gauge is constantly protected from the elements and any bumps or scrapes. Additionally, an over pressure relief is fitted to the back of the gauge to prevent the screen from exploding. Explosion only occurs on the rare occasion that the internal mechanism fails.

Likewise, the dials on the Depth Gauge Console have a luminous background for a long phosphorescent effect to help with reading is conditions of poor visibility. The Depth Gauge also comes with a resettable max depth indicator and is made with the same high-shock resistant windows as the Pressure Gauge.

Key Benefits

Pressure Gauge

  • Large range - The dial range of 0 to 360 bar is more than enough to handle the average dive with ease.
  • Clear display - The uncluttered display with luminous background makes for easy viewing even in darker waters.
  • Oxygen Compatible - The dial is made with oxygen compatible materials, meaning that it can be used with confidence (make sure to oxygen clean before use with high percentage oxygen.)
  • Easy to attach - The large loop area is designed into the housing of the gauge, this makes it easy to attach without much hassle.
  • Overpressure relief - The overpressure relief on the back of the console prevents explosion in the event that the internal mechanism fails, giving divers peace of mind as they dive.
  • Highly shock resistant - The anti-splinter polycarbonate dial window is designed to protect your gauge in those tricky situations.

Depth Gauge

  • Clear display - the dials on the gauge have a long phosphorescent effect, meaning they are visible to the diver in low visibility situations.
  • Flexible design - there are two attachment areas integrated into the design, allowing for a flexible approach to how you position the gauge.
  • Highly shock resistant - The anti-splinter polycarbonate dial window is designed to protect your gauge in those tricky situations.
  • Resettable max depth indicator - The depth gauge’s max depth indicator can be reset, meaning that it will remain calibrated over time.

Which Apeks Console/Gauge is Right For Me?

Your console is one of your important piece of equipment in your arsenal and plays a key role in keeping you safe and informed about critical information during your dive.

Gauges or 'consoles' typically feature between one and three faces.

  • SPG (Submersible Pressure Gauge) - The SPG or contents gauge is by far the most important dial in your arsenal and this shows you how much pressure is remaining in your tank at any point during your dive.
  • Depth Gauge - A depth gauge allows you to track your current depth.
  • Compass - Just like on land your compass allows your to know which direction you're facing, to aid navigation

Apeks SPG

The SPG is a super simple and super reliable one gauge device. While most divers will prefer a 2 of 3 gauge console, the SPG is ideal for divers using modern dive computers and wristwatches of who want to maintain a streamlined, uncluttered setup while retaining a backup pressure gauge (which is required at all times when diving).

SPG + Compass

Like the SPG, but with a console on the back. An excellent upgrade over the standard SPG, the SPG + Compass provide extra functionality without the extra clutter and size of a larger two and three gauge console.

Console 2 Gauge

The Console 2 Gauge provides both an SPG and a depth gauge in a reasonably compact and wallet friendly package. While they're still very popular, as more and more divers move to advanced computers and digital console these larger devices are becoming less en-vouge...

Console 3 Gauge

Triple Consoles provide the ultimate backup and versatility allowing you to track pressure, depth and direction easily. The downside is that 3 gauge consoles are somewhat hefty and can get entangled during your dive if you're not careful.

Tek 3

The Tek 3 is designed for technical divers with simplicity in mind. Featuring only an SPG, the TEK 3 is designed to be used with a digital console or dive computer.
